Implementation of the Project “Azov-City” in Kuban Is Continued

At present time, there is only one gambling zone "Azov-City" operated in the region in Russian that created in accordance with the Federal Law of December 29, 2006, "On the state regulation of the organization and conducting of gambling and on amendments to certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation".

The gambling zone "Azov-City" in the Municipal Formation Shcherbinovskiy District of the Krasnodar region was defined by the Government of the RF of December 29, 2007, No. 1945-r.

In 2012, the boundaries of the existing gaming zone was changed by annexation to it land plots located near the Cossack village of Blagoveshchenskaya, an urban district of the resort town of Anapa, in accordance with the decree of the Russian Government of  March 12, 2012, No. 334-r.

Today, three gambling establishments successfully operate in the part of the gambling zone in the Shcherbinovskiy district. The total area of these objects is 6.6 thousand square meters.

By 2015, with the commissioning of new hotels, combined with gambling establishments, the total area of existing facilities of the gambling zone "Azov-City" in the Shcherbinovskiy district will increase to 43.6 thousand square meters, and in 2016,  to 90.4 thousand square meters.

More than 750,000 people have already visited "Azov-City" fr om 2010 to the present time.

Budget revenues to the Krasnodar region from the renting land plots in the gaming area, starting in 2010, amounted to more than 380 million rubles, and taxes on gambling amounted to more than 422 million rubles.

In addition to land gambling zone "Azov  City", wh ere investment projects worth more than 1.1 billion rubles has been already implemented, and another 19 plots was transferred to investors for the construction of facilities with a total announced investment of 50 billion rubles and with terms of the implementation until 2023 year.

The development of the gaming zone is beneficially implied to the social and economic development of the Shcherbinovskiy and surrounding districts.

Residents of the municipality formation were able to get a job with competitive salary.

At present time, more than 870 work positions have been created in the territory of "Azov-City" in Shcherbinovskiy district, and by September 2016, their number will increase to 3,480.

Due to the construction of engineering infrastructure of the gaming zone, surrounding localities have been landscaped, and a gas pipeline and pumping station has been constructed, and water pipeline is under construction.

The tourism industry has received a powerful impulse to its development in the north of the Krasnodar region.

It is necessary to note that the Government of the Russian Federation was not accepted the decisions on the elimination of the gambling zone "Azov-City", existing on the territory of the Shcherbinovskiy district and in the urban district of the resort town of Anapa.
